Dr. Kelsey Twist Shroeder: Navigating a Loving Journey
Show Notes

Dr. Kelsey Twist Schroeder is the Executive Strategist for Research and Planning at The Hamlin School in San Francisco, where she previously served as the Middle School Division Head. Kelsey has lectured on the pedagogy of leadership at numerous local and national conferences, and her writing has been published in Independent School Magazine, the Baltimore Sun, and U.S. Lacrosse Magazine.

One of Kelsey's research interests includes the intersectionality of leadership and identity, and she is especially interested in nurturing leadership skills in students who identify with groups who have been historically excluded from formal positions of leadership, which makes her the perfect guest to talk about LGBTQ children and families.

Kelsey will share her professional expertise through her own personal love story, and we’ll use her framework of 1. Remaining open-minded 2.  Allowing children be our leaders, and 3. Continuing to listen, learn, and grow in love.
